Carrie Bye is a Health and Safety Consultant based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
I believe in offering Health and Safety advice in plain English that will help you and your company comply with current UK Health and Safety and Fire Legislation.
I can look after and support your organisation whether you are a sole proprietor or a large corporation, and can offer solutions for you which work for your organisation and don't cost a fortune.
I started working in the Health and Safety industry in 1999, and during my time as a consultant I have worked in a variety of environments including offices, factories, schools, private estates, construction, the TV industry - and pretty much everything in between.

My work is based on my own experience and expertise: all organisations are individual, and my work is tailored around what will work for each particular environment and set of people. I believe in working in plain English, and will simplify your legal obligations without any fuss.
Available services
From one-off pieces of advice, to ongoing consultancy contracts: I can offer comprehensive and personalised support and advice in every Health and Safety challenge your company may face. I can also help and advise you with your duties under CDM (Construction, Design & Management Regs), and have extensive experience in compiling and producing stand-alone CDM O&M (Operation & Maintenance) manuals.
My Qualifications
You can be assured that I am competent to deal with your needs; as well as many years experience in the field, I also have the following;
- NEBOSH General Certificate with Merit (National Educational Board of Occupational Safety & Health)
- NVQ Levels 3 & 4 in Occupational Safety and Health
- Chartered member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety & Health)
- Member of the IIRSM (International Institute of Risk & Safety Management)
- Numerous other Health and Safety related courses.
I have also attended numerous courses in Fire Safety, Risk Management, CDM, behaviour management, child protection, face fit testing, lone working, to name but a few.
I am happy to have a DBS check carried out if your working environment includes children and vulnerable adults.
I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance in place for up to £1 million (copies available if required)
